Meet Jillian

I am the Owner and Principal Designer of Design by Jillian.

After graduating with a diploma from the Interior Design Technologist program at NAIT in 2020, I spent the next five years working for a custom home builder as the Client Liaison and Lead Interior Designer. During that time, I gained hands-on experience in new construction, renovations and insurance rebuilds. I had the opportunity to design show homes, spec homes, duplexes, and contribute to over 100 client projects.

In mid-2025, I joined a furniture showroom part-time to deepen my knowledge of high end custom furniture, made-to-order lighting and bespoke accessories, all while I launch my own interior design studio.

My goal is to create a seamless, collaborative and client-focused process while designing spaces that truly reflect my clients’ needs and style. I love working in a variety of design styles and enjoy the creative challenge of tailoring each space to suit the unique personality of every client.
